Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is a combination of two antiretroviral drugs: Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (300 mg) or Tenofovir alafenamide (25 mg) with Emtricitabine (200 mg). What Do You Need Before Getting HIV PrEP Service?
Medical history and recent laboratory tests must be declared during the PrEP consultation. In case that you have recent prescription or recent tests of STD and kidney function within 3-6 months, please prepare the document and show those to our doctor on the date of your visit.
For New PrEP User / PrEP Restart
Recommendation for the 1st time PrEP user (PrEP starter) and PrEP Restart User:
- Fully protected sex or No history of unprotected sex at least for the last 1 month
- PrEP is for people who have No HIV infection. This is to ensure that you are not in the window period of HIV infection.
For Current PrEP User
Regular PrEP users usually know the basic information about their PrEP regimen, PrEP medication, and Lab tests. Please bring your recent prescription details including the medication and lab results prior to the visit

Is appointment needed?
- Walk-in is accepted. Please note that you may need to wait more than 15-30 minutes for the walk-in queue; however, this is only if there are no doctors available at that moment.
- Appointment is recommended. We recommend clients to book an appointment before visiting for PrEP service. Additionally, you can send your basic information prior to your visit for the pre-registration process.

- Medical History: Inform the doctor about the underlying medical condition, current medication, and supplement.
- Sexual-risk Assessment: Question about the sexual history to assess the risk
