Do I need to fast before testing?

Yes. All four packages require fasting for at least 10 to 12 hours before testing, as stated in H.U.M. Clinic’s package chart. Every package includes a fasting blood glucose test (FBS), which is measured after fasting.

What does the AMH test in the Elite package show?

AMH (anti-Müllerian hormone) helps estimate ovarian reserve, which relates to the remaining pool of eggs. It does not count eggs directly, measure egg quality or reliably predict natural pregnancy on its own. AMH is included in the Elite package only.

Are the tumor markers in Advance and Elite suitable for routine cancer screening?

No. The tumor markers in Advance and Elite are not reliable for routine cancer screening in people without symptoms. Tumor markers can be raised for reasons other than cancer, and normal results cannot rule cancer out. A doctor should decide whether these tests are appropriate for your situation.

Which package should I choose?

Choose based on your health concerns and medical advice. Elite has the most extensive test list of these four packages, but more tests are not automatically more useful for every person. A doctor can help assess which tests and timing are appropriate. For information about other assessments, see our health check-up service.
